Restaurante Dexcaro & Ossadía by Carlos G. Moreno

We did Ossadia for an anniversary. This was quite a unique and very joyful experience. We have done a lot of very high end tasting menus so we are not easy to impress. The food was inventive and delicious and the experience was the most fun and creative that we have ever experienced for a tasting menu. They very easily accommodated our request for gluten-free for one of us and it was seamless. The owner really has passion and clearly cares about the entire experience. Highly recommended.

We recently dined at Dexcaro & Ossadia, expecting Peruvian cuisine but were greeted with a delightful fusion of mostly Asian flavors. We chose à la carte, but in hindsight, the menu might have been a better option, as the dishes, while excellent, were quite filling. The food was incredibly flavorful, and Carlos and his team demonstrated impressive skill and knowledge in their culinary and attention craft. One standout was the cremaet, which was truly memorable. Despite the initial expectation for Peruvian dishes, the overall experience was fantastic, a side of one dish and in my opinion the desserts(but it might be a matter of preferences) thanks to the creativity and expertise of the team.

RESTAURANTE DEXCARO, PARQUE CHABAS, DÉNIA. With Linda Powell This is by no means the first time we have eaten here and the sister restaurant (operating from the same building Ossidia) continues to win award after award throughout Alicante province! Referring only to Dexcaro I must say that this stunning restaurant gets even better every time we visit. Magnificent choice of plates and an excellent wine card! What more could you ask for? Last night we shared, their version of Peking Duck, easily the best ever! Risotto de Indio, where Chef Carlos cleverly substituted Rice for the tiniest lentils ever in a delicious curry- magnificent and far healthier! Finally, we had an excellent plate of Ryoshi ,nearly raw Tuna with the lightest covering of batter you can imagine. My mouth is watering as I write this! If you haven't been, what are you waiting for this is the highest calibre of food in the heart of Dénia!

We have been wanting to go here for a while and so glad we did. The atmosphere and welcome when you first arrive is great. We tried a pisco cocktail before dinner and it was excellent. The server took the time to explain the menu and make recommendations, which was really useful. The food was amazing. Every dish was full of flavour and unique from anything we’ve eaten before. The peking duck was the standout dish for us. The sake ice cream and white chocolate dessert was also a hit!! The service was outstanding and we had a fabulous evening. Highly recommend a visit.

Ossadia is spectacular. Visited and enjoyed the experience twice. Brilliantly made fusion dishes, thought-through composition and progression with a fun twist. All underpinned by the creativity, passion and great hospitality of the very talented Carlos and team. A mandatory stop in Dénia.

Great food and service. We will be back. The marriage of Spanish food/ingredients with foreign influences like Thai and Peruvian are done really well. We especially enjoyed the Peruvian sushi and the figatelle Thai style. The cremmant is a fabulous way to end your meal and the presentation is unique. Absolutely recommend. We will be back!

Great experience - everyone was so friendly and the food exceptional. Everything with a twist and an incredible Cava Hope to be back soon You have to try the special coffee!!!
